SSOX, (pronounced socks but a lot less smelly) stands for Senior Section Oxfordshire and as the name suggests includes every member of the Senior Section in Oxfordshire!
2005 is the year of the ‘SSOX Challenge’ and as always when there’s something to compete in, the Rangers were keen to get involved.
There are lots of different challenges devised by different Ranger and young leader groups in Oxfordshire (unfortunately ours didn’t make it onto the list- obviously they just weren’t challenging enough!)
So far we’ve managed to complete the following challenges and we have the photographic evidence to prove it!

• Playing the tune of Taps with water
• Finger Knitting
• Party at high place
• Spaghetti and Blue-Tack sculpture
• Bivouac
• Making our unit’s name in the most imaginative way possible
• Knitting A Blanket
• Fundraising for Jubilee House
• Go on a walk to see the sunrise
• Make the Longest Penny Line
• Make the biggest elastic band ball
